Your DIY website doesn’t have to suck.
And with my thorough-AF DIY web design guide, I promise you it won’t.
(But also, don’t take my current site as an example. We’re over construction over here!)
Does your to-do list look like this?
Start website
Work on website
Fix website
Redo website
Figure out what’s wrong with website
Cry about website
Start website
Work on website
Finish website
Feel proud of website
Get more sales with new website
But you want it to look like this?
Let’s scrap the site stress once and for all.
I’ve got everything you need to create a functional, user-friendly website that also looks cute (because functional and user-friendly does not automatically equal boring and bland).
Kinda DIY is:
A detailed guide (35 pages!) that explains everything from buying a domain to hitting publish
Easy to understand—no weird technical terms (or if there are technical terms, they’re explained. Imagine that?)
Loaded with visuals, because putting your website together is visual
Printer friendly!! (Anyone else a pen-and-paper person ‘til you die? Because same.)
Kinda DIY is for you if:
You need a website (or have a website that needs work) but have no freaking clue where to start…or are just so overwhelmed, you keep putting it off
You’ve tried to DIY your website but have a) sent yourself into absolute rage-mode, b) cried and gave up, or c) published it, but aren’t happy about it
You’re not quiiite ready to hire a web designer
You don’t want to use a “plug and play” style template (because you actually want to understand what makes a great website)
You don’t want to resort to AI (because you want your site to feel and sound like YOU)
You want to make sure your website is user-friendly and accessible for everyone!
Kinda DIY is not for you if:
You’re not willing to put in the time—this is NOT a quick fix!
You want your website to suck
Wanna know what’s inside?
Choosing a platform & buying a domain
Design deep dive: accessibility, color guidelines, typography, layouts, sections, spacing, and more!
Planning your pages
Designing for mobile
Copywriting (messaging!), SEO, and calls to action

Questions?
Will Kinda DIY replace a professional web designer?
No. Kinda DIY teaches you a whole lot about putting together a good looking, functional, accessible website, but it does not replace a designer. There are sooo many levels to creating websites; Kinda DIY is perfect for beginners!
Does Kinda DIY guarantee traffic, sales, etc.?
No. While I can’t guarantee you traffic or sales, I can promise you your website is going to look and function better.
What’s the difference between Kinda DIY and a pre-made template?
Pre-made templates can be great tools, but a lot of them don’t explain why certain elements/techniques work, so sometimes you’re paying a pretty penny to still be confused, and that’s no fun.
Can I get a refund if it doesn’t work for me?
If you take the time to apply what’s taught in Kinda DIY, there’s no way it won’t work for you. That being said, due to the fact that it’s a digital product, there are no refunds.
Do I get any perks?
If you purchase a copy of Kinda DIY and decide down the road that you want me to redesign your website, your purchase price will come off your total package :)
And if you don’t want to hear it from me:
For clarification: I taught a DIY class where attendees received early copies, and we talked about how/when the guide would officially be for sale.
Ready to get kinda weird?
(All by yourself?)
